Tour Information

This tour is only for those with high endurance and who are in excellent physical condition. You will hike for a solid 4 to 6 hours through the mysterious jungles of Volcan Baru National Park – at night!  The 11pm departure time allows you to arrive at the top just before sunrise.  You will be able to spend a few hours at the top marveling at the glorious colors of the sky and enjoying a hardly meal, before making the trek back down. For those who prefer, a 5am departure time is available, however this time does not allow for for sunrise viewing.

What to bring: Backpack, 4+ liters drinking water, high energy snacks, shoes for hiking, camera, rain coat or waterproof jacket. warm clothing, headlamp or flashlight.
